The wine region of Swan Hill is located in the region of Big Rivers of Nouvelle-Galles du Sud of Australia. Wineries and vineyards like the Domaine Andrew Peace or the Domaine Andrew Peace produce mainly wines red, white and pink. The most planted grape varieties in the region of Swan Hill are Chardonnay, Durif and Zweigelt, they are then used in wines in blends or as a single variety. On the nose of Swan Hill often reveals types of flavors of green apple, citrus or black fruits and sometimes also flavors of black fruit, non oak or blackberry.
In the mouth of Swan Hill is a powerful with a nice freshness. We currently count 8 estates and châteaux in the of Swan Hill, producing 17 different wines in conventional, organic and biodynamic agriculture. The wines of Swan Hill go well with generally quite well with dishes of pork, rich fish (salmon, tuna etc) or vegetarian.
